School ofPharmacy is approved by PCI. Pharmacy is the science and technique of preparingand dispensing medicines. It is a health profession that links health scienceswith chemical and biological sciences and aims to ensure the safe and effectiveuse of medicines. The scope of pharmacy profession includes more traditional roles  such as compounding  and  dispensing medicinesto health care and clinical services, reviewing medications for safety andefficacy and providing drug information. Pharmacists are experts on drugtherapy and are primary health care professionals who optimize use ofmedication for the benefit of patients and society. The teaching and learningprocess at Abhilashi University is designed to produce right combination ofskills, knowledge and attitude.

 

 

Under-GraduateProgramme

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy)

Duration: 4 Years

Seats:60

Eligibility & Admission Criteria: Admission will bemade on the merit of HPCET or 45% in 10+2 (Science) for Gen. and 40% in 10+2(Science) for SC/ST.

 

Lateral Entry:

Passed Diploma inPharmacy (Allopathy) examination from PCI approved institution with 45% marksfor General and 40% for SC/ST category candidates.

 

Diploma in Pharmacy(Allopathy) (D. Pharmacy)

Duration:2 years

Seats: 60

Eligibility:

Candidates having passed (10+2) with scienceexamination/equivalent examination conducted by the recognized educationBoard/University. The eligible candidate should fulfil the minimum entry levelqualifications prescribed by PCI or any other qualification approved by thePCI.

Post-Graduate Programme

Master in Pharmacy(Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy)

Duration: 2 years (4semesters)

Seats: Pharmaceutics 06, Pharmaceutical Chemistry 09, Pharmacognosy15

Eligibility: The admissionto M Pharmacy degree course shall be made on the basis of merit of valid GPATscore. In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of GPAT, thevacant seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET. In case theseats still remain vacant after exhausting the merit of National level test andHPCET, the seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of B. Pharmacy degreeawarded by the recognized University having minimum 55% for Gen and 50% for(SC/ST).

 

ResearchDegree Programme:

Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences

 

Seats:       Total Seats = 08

 

Eligibility: 

A candidate with 55% marks (50% for ST/SC) atMaster level in concern specialization. The admission shall bethrough AUCET-2018 except those who have qualified UGC-NET/CSIR (JRF,NET)/SLET/GPAT/direct awardees of DST/ICMR/DRDO/INSPIRE and other state orcentral level fellowship.
